The Pepper Pike Club Addition + Improvements

The Pepper Pike Club hired Perspectus to design an addition to the club to expand the Men’s lockers area. The addition will provide an enlarged Men’s Lounge, with associated bar and attendants area, Men’s locker relocation and replacement, providing additional lockers, and adding insulation to allow for year-round use. The project will also provide a new exterior entrance to the Men’s lockers with a porch seating area.

The design also includes expansion of the Board Room with improved audio/visual capabilities as well as added square footage to allow the space to be easily reconfigured for multiple functions. The Administration Offices will be moved from the second floor and relocated to the Pro-Shop to provide space for a Women’s Lounge with television and seating areas, and to provide quiet areas for members to use for work when needed.

External maintenance such as repair of the existing chimney masonry, repair of flat roof areas, replacement and repair of areas of stucco and wood, and repair of caulk joints all around the building, are also included. The project is currently awaiting approval from the Club board.

Previously, Jim Wallis, AIA served as Project Architect for a 5,000 SF addition completed in 2012. That project included a new member dining room; a bar/lounge; an outdoor patio and bar; women’s locker rooms; a relocated and expanded kitchen; and other interior updates to the existing clubhouse. Alterations to the clubhouse include life safety improvements and ADA accessibility upgrades, including a new elevator.
