The Country Club

The Country Club engaged Perspectus to evaluate and restore its historic 1930 Neoclassical Revival clubhouse and associated site features. Phase one consisted of a comprehensive building envelope assessment of the clubhouse, site walls, and garage, identifying critical deficiencies such as masonry deterioration, roofing failures, water infiltration, and structural concerns. Findings were documented through site visits and structural reviews and summarized in a report with prioritized repair recommendations and cost opinions to guide long-term stewardship.

Phase two advanced into design and construction documentation for targeted repairs, including slate roof and copper flashing restoration, chimney stabilization, masonry repointing and stone patching, window and door repairs, low-slope roof replacement, drainage improvements, and terrace and portico rehabilitation with integrated waterproofing. All work was designed in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation, balancing performance upgrades with preservation of historic character and extending the clubhouse’s service life for future generations.
