Hinckley Township Fire Station

With a city administration looking to expand into their current Fire Department space and a volunteer fire crew preparing to staff full-time, Hinckley Township needed a new fire station.

Perspectus took a challenging site and tight budget and created an efficient plan that includes three double-depth drive-through apparatus bays, a large classroom, administrative offices and crew quarters. Flexible seating and integrated technology in the classroom space serve many functions from crew training and community CPR classes to an Emergency Operations Center.

The structure is designed for efficient deployment of firefighters, with a direct pathway from the dorms and crew areas to the apparatus bays.
