Belmont College provides affordable academic degrees and technical training to residents of the Ohio Valley, including one of the only nursing programs in the area. After several years of rising enrollment, the rural commuter college needed to consolidate its healthcare education programs to improve efficiencies between departments and provide state-of-the-art facilities to replace their antiquated spaces.
Perspectus designed the Health Sciences Center to accommodate the Science, Nursing, Medical Assisting and Emergency Medical programs in one building, and maximize synergies through shared spaces such as demonstration labs, IT rooms, and classrooms. Belmont now has a home for state-of-the art healthcare education to successfully prepare students for real work situations in the healthcare environment.
