Perspectus Welcomes Maura Flaherty

Perspectus is elated to welcome our newest hire, Maura Flaherty, to the team!

Maura is an emerging professional joining the Perspectus Historic Studio as an Intern Architect. Passionate about architectural conservation and sustainability, she chose to begin her career in preservation. Her experience lies in federal and state historic tax credit projects, primarily adaptive reuse of existing structures to multi-family residential dwellings.

Maura believes in the economic, ecologic, and aesthetic potential of investing in the existing built environment. She is excited to expand her knowledge with our team by exploring other sectors of design. Her professional development endeavors include active pursuit of licensure, AIA membership, and serving on the Historic Ohio City Design Review Advisory Committee. Maura is looking forward to continued growth with our team and eager to contribute through her curiosity, creativity, and digital skills.

As a Pittsburgh native, Maura came to Cleveland following her graduation from Kent State University with her Masters of Architecture. She enjoys trying new restaurants, cooking, gardening, yoga, and exploring Cleveland!
