Meet our 2023 Summer Intern

Gabriel Firestone rejoins the Perspectus team for his second summer as an architectural intern, bringing a diverse background and a passion for excellence in design. Currently pursuing a Master of Architecture degree at Kent State University's College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED), Gabriel's dedication and talent were recognized with a 2022 CAED Award of Excellence.

Gabriel brings with him over a decade of professional practice as a scenic designer for theater, opera, and other live entertainment events, having honed his artistic skills as an associate in prominent New York City design offices. His impressive portfolio boasts over twenty Broadway credits, as well as numerous national and international tours, special events, and exhibitions. Gabriel's creative work has garnered attention on platforms like Netflix, Good Morning America, and the Tony Awards.

As Gabriel embarks on his second internship with Perspectus, he is excited to gain deeper insight into professional architectural practice and take on new challenges. Recognizing the importance of valuable mentorship opportunities, Gabriel aims to actively engage with experienced professionals who can guide him in his transition into the architecture profession. By immersing himself in these experiences, Gabriel is determined to expand his industry knowledge and contribute meaningfully to projects, preparing for a successful future in the field.

Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Gabriel finds joy in working on home renovations, cooking for family and friends, and spending quality time with his wife, dog, and macaw.

Gabriel's multifaceted background, coupled with his dedication to growth and collaboration, positions him as a valuable asset to the Perspectus team as he embarks on another transformative internship experience.
