Shaker Heights Country Club, founded in 1913 on the former estate of John D. Rockefeller, is one of the premier private clubs in Northeast Ohio. Perspectus has led the club through multiple clubhouse improvement projects and a comprehensive facilities master plan renovating the main and lower levels while adding modern member amenities. A new grand porch addition on the backside of the clubhouse embraces the historic architecture, creating outdoor member dining and lounge areas that take advantage of the golf course views. The new member dining, bar and banquet room design respects the past, while being serviced by a new modern kitchen on the main level. A new family dining room, fitness center, men’s grill and men’s locker room have been carved out of existing lower level space and provide a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.
