Perspectus has led Canterbury Golf Club, founded in 1921, through multiple clubhouse improvement projects and two comprehensive facility master plans. The most recent plan reflects the Club’s vision for continued long-term success over the next 10 to 15 years.
Phase 1 addressed the demands of today’s member, enhancing the golf experience that starts in the locker rooms and ends on the Patio. Phase 2 updates and expands the clubhouse, providing more space for a growing membership while putting the finishing touches on a premier golf experience. Phase 3 addresses the bones of the operation, an often-neglected undertaking, but one that ensures sustainability.
While golf is key to Canterbury Golf Club’s existence, the club understands the ongoing importance of enhancements to supporting amenities that play a role in the entire membership experience. Like any successful business, a club must be able to serve the cycle of interests of its clientele and continue to invest to be one of the top destinations in Northeastern Ohio.
Clubhouse improvements over the years have reinvented the interior of the clubhouse from the front door through the living room, banquet room, member dining rooms to the champions hall and its championship trophy display. New outdoor dining patios and terraces take advantage of the spectacular views of the golf course from the clubhouse. Additional improvements will re-envision the club locker rooms and add an additional outdoor bar and terrace structures.
