Meet Our Summer 2025 Interns

We are excited to introduce our Summer 2025 interns, Benjamin Ferg and Kayla Kroth! 

Benjamin is currently studying Architecture with a minor in Construction Management at Kent State University. This summer, he joins Perspectus as an architectural intern, eager to gain experience in commercial architecture. On campus, he is a member of AIAS and Kent State Cru. In his free time, he enjoys disc golfing, hiking, and watching Formula 1. Benjamin is excited to broaden his network and develop his skills as a designer this summer.

Kayla is currently studying Interior Design at Kent State University and will be entering her fourth year this fall. She first learned about this opportunity while studying abroad in Florence, Italy, through the Kent State program during the spring of her junior year. Since the end of May, Kayla has been gaining hands-on experience in technical proficiency, space planning, attention to detail, and time management. After graduation, she hopes to enhance her professional credentials by earning her NCIDQ certification. Outside of her internship, Kayla stays busy and motivated by working a weekend job and taking an online course. Despite her full schedule, she always makes time to enjoy being with friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys running, exercising, traveling, and more.
